BA joined ACYC’s drama programme at age 9 as a shy pupil who avoided classroom discussion and lacked confidence speaking in front of others.
After three years of consistent participation in weekly drama sessions, BA demonstrated a significant increase in classroom engagement and communication skills. Teachers reported improved participation and confidence in presentations.
The impact continued into secondary school and college, where BA actively performed in productions and public events. Today, he performs regularly and has formed his own music band.
Impact: 4+ years sustained engagement Improved classroom participation Long-term confidence development Continued creative progression into adulthood This case demonstrates how early creative intervention builds lifelong confidence and leadership skills.
